No its a synthesizer soft which gotten pretty famous especially in japan, you know Hatsune Miku, Luka Megurine etc are the voices. And each have an iconic image (that is for Luka) their's even a PSP game Diva Project [link] .

Ah okay. I remember Redlof saying that she has played it. It's just so popular that I'm somewhat surprised that an anime of it has not been released yet. I think it would be well received among fans. :)
